Murray
Visser AACI
Murray received his undergraduate degree in
business from Wilfrid Laurier University,
and has worked in the real estate field since
that time, focusing on appraisal and related
services for the last 15 years. Prior to becoming
the owner of PVCI in 2004, he worked in Toronto
for Ernst & Young as a manager in the
real estate consulting practice, and with
CIBC in the real estate construction financing
group in Woodbridge. In the 1990’s he
worked at Lincoln North and Company as a senior
appraiser. Lincoln North and Company was the
pre-eminent appraisal firm in Canada, catering
to institutional investors, pension funds
and large private developers. |

Dave
Cunningham
CRA
Dave’s career as a Residential Appraiser
started with Canada Mortgage and Housing (CMHC).
He has been active in the field for over twenty
five years, which included appraisal related
real estate responsibilities in both the private
and public sectors. He has worked for
Royal Lepage, Central Ontario Appraisals and
operated his own appraisal business as a sole
proprietor. He has been an active member
of the Oshawa/Durham Chapter of the Appraisal
Institute of Canada since 1980. Dave
is a long time resident of the Durham Region,
and brings with him an extensive knowledge
of the residential market. |

Monique
Gillespie
Monique Gillespie is our Residential Appraiser
and a member of the Appraisal Institute of
Canada. Monique started her career working
in a mortgage underwriting department for
a national company and has worked extensively
with the public. Being from the Durham Area
allows Monique to be knowledgeable of the
area markets and helps her produce high quality
reports in a time effective manner. |

Holly
Hannam
Holly is our Commercial Consultant with an
extensive background in Real Estate Law. A
graduate of Carleton University and Durham
College, Holly is currently working towards
becoming a candidate member of the Appraisal
Institute. |

Tobe
Otvos
Working under the direction of Murray Visser,
Tobe is a candidate member of the Appraisal
Institute of Canada and is currently working
towards his AACI designation. Tobe holds an
honours business administration degree from
Brock University. For the past 8 years he
has worked in sales and marketing within the
power tool industry. |

Christy
Whiteman
Christy is a candidate member of the Appraisal
Institute of Canada and is working toward
her AACI designation while performing as a
Staff Appraiser of commercial and industrial
properties. A graduate of the University of
Guelph, Christy brings seven years of business
management experience in the pharmaceutical
industry. |

Amanda
Clarke
Amanda brings strong administrative support
skills to her role at Property Valuators.
She also has a background in legal administration,
providing solid research and organizational
skills for the team. Amanda’s experience
in customer service ensures our clients receive
prompt attention. She is currently working
towards her diploma in the Advanced Legal
Administration Program at Durham College. |

Kim
Leighton
Kim is our Receptionist and has a strong background
in accounts payable, accounts receivable and
bookkeeping. Her experience has been gained
through fifteen years of running her own successful
business. Kim also has experience dealing
with the public through her work as a customer
service representative at a local housing
developer. |
