Murray Visser, AACI, P.App. (President)
Murray received his undergraduate degree in business from Wilfrid Laurier University, and has worked in the real estate field since that time, focusing on appraisal and related services for the last 20 years. Prior to becoming the owner of PVCI in 2004, he worked in Toronto for Ernst & Young as a manager in the real estate consulting practice, and with CIBC in the real estate construction financing group. In the 1990s he worked at Lincoln North and Company as a senior appraiser. Lincoln North and Company was the pre-eminent appraisal firm in Canada, catering to institutional investors, pension funds and large private developers.
Diane Anderson, CRA (York Region Office)
Diane Anderson is a designated member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. She has been actively appraising residential properties with Central Ontario Appraisals since 2003 for a wide spectrum of clientele. Her experience includes completing reports for power of sale, matrimonial dispute, private sale and buyout. She has a broad base of industry knowledge including urban, rural and waterfront properties.
Melissa Ozturk, CRA (York Region Office)
Melissa received her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in 1992. She brings to our firm over 10 years or real estate industry expertise. Melissa achieved her Certified Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation in 2006 and is also a licensed real estate salesperson. Being a long time resident of York Region, she offers a broad base of knowledge and experience, providing the highest quality reports in a timely and professional manner.
John J. (Jack) Ploder, CRA (York Region Office)
Jack offers over 38 years of real estate industry experience, with 28 years in appraisal. He began his career in 1973 as a real estate sales representative. Previously a partner of Central Ontario Appraisals, he has continued in his key role as part of the senior management for the Residential Appraisal Division. He has also served for the Huronia Chapter of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. A long time resident of York Region, he brings extensive knowledge of the residential market. He has acted for various lenders, law firms, government agencies, relocation firms, accountants and realtors.
Tracy Russell, CRA (Durham Region Office)
Tracy has worked as a residential appraiser since 2005 and joined PVCI’s staff in 2007. In 2008 she received her CRA designation after completing the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) Education Program through the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business. Tracy has been a licensed real estate agent since 2000 and became a broker in 2009. Tracy has completed residential appraisals throughout Durham Region and parts of Northumberland County including single-family homes, rural properties and multi-family homes of up to four units. |
